A Re-introduction

It’s feeling like a good time to re-introduce Bandalé to our audience, old and new. If you’re interested, keep a look out on our blog to follow the story and prompts on our social media to know when the next installments have been posted.

The Beginning

Our third child developed eczema at around 6-7 months old, shortly after rounds of routine childhood immunisations. This started my wife and I on a path of late nights of our child constantly scratching at dry – sometimes weepy areas of his skin causing obvious discomfort and upset. A trip to the GP with our son resulted in persciptions for steroid creams, bath creams and moisturisers.

The perscription creams provided a little relief and seemed to clear it up, but once we started totaper off using it, the eczema flared back even worse.

Unconvinced that medically treating this was the only way, and fed up of the temporary results and worsening symptoms, my wife and I decided to research natural remedies for skin problems in the form of oils and natural ingredients, internal as well as external.  It was through this research and application of what we learned, that we were able to help control his eczema to a point of no visible trace ( but of course, always underlying).

One of the things that really concerened us at the time, was the very limited availability and high cost of natural alternatives not just for skin, but for health in general. It was at this point I decided to embark on a journey of travelling, networking and sourcing high quality, natural, Raw materials from countries of origin that I could provide for my family as well as make them available and afordable to everybody.

And so… Bandalé was born.
