Natures range for a more natural You.

“Becoming a more natural YOU is a lot easier than you may think. It doesn’t have to be an all or nothing transition, as you can start by replacing your current skin care products with a more natural option.”

The skin is our largest organ and also a permeable membrane which allows things in and out. Whilst it does an amazing job helping the body expel toxins, it can also absorb matter into the bloodstream. At Bandale we ONLY provide products that aids and promotes healthier skin and all round well being. We have consulted with Naturopaths, Nutritionists and those from the old school and more to bring you tips and practical advice on how to improve ones skin as well as health.

Reaction Triggers

In our experience, having dry skin that is not just brought on by the environment/weather changes are symptoms of what could be a larger problem.  In this day and age (unfortunately) we have to make a more conscious effort to maintain some state of well being whether it be mental, physical or psychological which brings to light in our opinion 3 main triggers that are common amongst the main skin issues such as psoriasis, eczema and more.

once you have an idea of what triggers your skin condition, you can take the necessary steps to manage and in some cases cure yourself.

Tips on using Bandalé Products

Our Unrefined Shea Butter is excellent to use during pregnancy as it may help prevent/reduce stretch marks with regular use leaving the skin moisturised and supple.  It is also great for moisturising/massaging baby.  It is very important that the right natural moisturiser is used on new born babies as it may help prevent and most certainly reduce the appearance of a dry skin condition.

After bath/shower, dry then directly apply your preferred blend from our range all over body for smooth, silky and softer feeling skin.

After drying your hair after a wash, apply your preferred (by Bandalé) hair care product to scalp and hair ends, comb through to soften hair.

Because our ranges consist of NATURAL substances/oils, you will only need to use a small amount in comparison to many other natural skin oils.  This is just one of the many benefits of choosing from our ranges.  If not too sure of how much to use, try spot testing.*

If your feet appear dry/cracked and in need of help, massage your feet at night with the Essentials Blend then wear some old socks before bed and wake up to rejuvenated, softer and grateful feeling feet.

To ease chapped lips, apply our Vegan Lip balm to lip area.  Continue use for desired effect.

If balding/ very low cut hair and out and about in cold weather, apply any of our (for Dry Skin) products to scalp and rest of face as it acts as a light insulator from the cold.

If you are in an environment where you are frequently washing your hands, apply the Essentials Blend to damp hands and rub in as it will help relieve the irritation caused from the harshness of regular soap and water use.

Special Note

Due to experience, if you have a child with eczema or are suffering with eczema yourself, our Bandalé Butters products are great to use to help moisturise your skin helping to alieviate the urge to scratch.  Shea butter is a natural emollient and is great for softer, smoother and healthier looking skin but open and infected wounds will need to be treated prior to use.  For this, please consult your homeopath, naturopath or GP.

Shea butter comes from the fruit of the Vitellaria paradoxa (shea tree from west Africa) and is not (to known research) related to nuts. However, we would advise spot testing* to anyone with nut allergies if they have any doubts.

As with other natural substances/oils, please avoid direct contact with your eyes as the results are not detrimental but uncomfortable.

Keep out of direct sunlight or heated areas as it will melt, even if this happens leave it in a cool area in order for it to reset.  It can still be applied when melted.  Constant exposure to sunlight can aid in the aging of Natural/Organic ingredients which normally should last around 18-24 months and beyond.

Our range is primarily used as moisturisers for external use on dry skin/dry patches for all skin types.

*spot testing is where you apply a very small amount of the product to a small area of your skin (preferably the back of your hand) before you apply it to the rest of your body to isolate any reactions that may occur.
